The use of gems and color to enhance a persons experience is an ancient art form known to many cultures.

We simply create jewelry keeping the following meanings and attributes in mind –

GEMS AND STONES

AGATE – (a variety of colors) Strength, protection, healing of fears.

AMBER – (honey colored) Cleansing, filtering and purifying.

AMETHYST – (transparent purple)

Creates pure thoughts and spiritual

insights.

AQUAMARINE – (transparent pale blue) A purifying and cleansing stone, calming, soothing, inner quiet, peace and  meditation.

AVENTURINE – (green, blue or red) Known as an opportunity stone to increase perception and enhance luck.

BONE, IVORY & HORN – (natural or dyed a variety of colors)

Soothing and strengthening effect on the wearer. A gift from the animal world.

CARNELIAN – (translucent red-orange) Stimulates enthusiasm and energy – aids practical application of energy.

CITRINE – (yellow) Heart center: Coming from Love & allowing one to clarify problems of the intellect & emotions.

FLUORITE – (green, blue, violet and yellow) Understanding and objectivity.

GARNET – (deep rose/red, pink or purple) Acts as a strong aid to balance the wearers energy system - brings circulation to normal. Increases positivity.

HEMATITE – (steel gray to black iron oxide) Dissolves negative energy and works as a shield of armor.

JADE – (white, pink, black, green and yellow) Has a calming effect on the body, courage, clarity and a tranquil mind.

JASPER – (opaque red, rose, brown and yellow) A strong, solid, securing stone - stabilizes emotions.

LAPIS LAZULI – (royal blue with traces of pyrite) An aid to inner vision, enhances wisdom.

MALACHITE – (green with brighter bands) Promotes emotional security, protects creative ideas. Brings success and good fortune in business matters.

OBSIDIAN – (translucent black) A stone of protection that prevents  emotional draining from others, sharpens vision and helps with transitions.

ONYX – (black) Self protection.

PERIDOT – (transparent olive green) Clear thought, problem solving, healing of body and spirit.

PYRITE – (gold crystallized mineral) Helps the wearer to match their vibrations with someone of a higher or lower  frequency than theirs.

QUARTZ CRYSTAL – (clear) A receiver, amplifier, conductor and  generator of energy.

ROSE QUARTZ – (pink) Used to boost the wearers self esteem. Heals the heart emotionally and physically.

RHODONITE – (pink with streaks of lead) Raises self-worth, and attracts loving relationships..

SHELLS – (all colors) Increases strength and endurance,  enhances beauty.

TIGER EYE – (brown  w/golden highlights) A combination of earth and sun, practical decision making and creativity.

TURQUOISE – (opaque greenish blue) Known as a protection from all evil things. Eases mental tension, calms emotional upsets, attracts abundance.

METALS

GOLD – Enhances a gem or stone and activates the energy of the stone.

SILVER – Is known as the moon metal and acts to support the stones

properties.

COPPER – Acts as a conductor when worn on the body. It aids the properties of the gem’s minerals to react with the body.

BRASS – Like copper, strengthens the physical reaction to the body, gems set in brass are supportive to the body due to the iron content of brass.

BLACK – Discipline, strong will.

BLUE (dark) – Intelligent, self-reliant.

BLUE (pale) – Mercy, gentleness & forgiving.

BLUE (greenish) – Idealistic, faithful.

PINK (bright) – Action oriented, assertive.

RED (bright) – Passionate, honest, ambitious, energetic, courageous, flamboyant.

RED (muted) – Dignified, Staunch.

VIOLET – Elegant, vibrant, spiritual.

YELLOW – Expressive, social.
